"Top 5 National Park | DO NOT MISS
If you're planning a road trip through Arizona, you cannot miss this Wonder of the World! We cannot say enough good things about this National Park. There truly is nothing else like it!
The park itself is fairly spread out, compared to other National Parks we have been to. This is nice when it comes to experiencing the park without too many people around. While we say this, make sure if you plan on doing any of the hikes/sightseeing, to do it in the morning. After 10am, buses will start filling the park, and the possiblity of catching a few minutes without interruption will become difficult.
There are plenty of trails around the park (handicap accessible/dog friendly), with options for more extrenous hikes.
The Rim Trail can be accessed by anyone and offers sevaral different view points. Checkout Yavapai Point for sunrise and Mather Point (5 min walk from visitors center) for sunset!
While there are a lot of options for sight seeing in the main part of Grand Canyon National Park, do not limit yourself. Many other options for view points and hikes exist on the East side of the Park.
Available ammenities within the park include:
Lodging, Camping, Restraunts, Gift Store, Bathrooms, Showers and Dog Kennel

"If you like to camp, check out Mather Campground, it's an absolute gem. Mather is located in a prime spot in the park, just a short walk away from the Grand Canyon's South Rim. The campground itself is surrounded by beautiful Ponderosa pine trees, and the peaceful sound of nature is all around.
The campsites at Mather are quite spacious, with plenty of room for tents, RVs, or whatever you might be camping in. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, so you can enjoy meals and s'mores around the fire at night. And if you're not in the mood to cook, there's a general store nearby where you can buy food and supplies."

"Three hours, one time zone and a border passed, we arrived at the Grand Canyon.
Entrance is included in the National Park annual pass, they give you a map at the entrance, best spots:
- Desert View
- Mather Point
- Yavapai Point
- Hopi Point
Tips and advices:
- you can park at each point, except for certain ones (like Hopi Point) where there is free bus you can take to get there;
- the most amazing pictures you see on Instagram are probably taken in spots where to get there, you need to climb and get down dangerous and unsafe paths (have right shoes on and don't look down!)."
