"Where the ferries arrive from Split, Stari Grad is a really cute and quaint town in and of itself. It's worth a visit just to walk around and admire the pretty little streets and boutiques that are there. Aside from that, it's also far less busy than Hvar itself.
Top tip: walk around Stari Grad by night, when it's less warm and all shops are open. People are outside in the streets and the place is alive, a fun alternative. "

"As one of the oldest towns in Europe, Stari Grad offers a quieter, more authentic experience compared to the bustling Hvar Town. You can wander through its charming, narrow streets lined with stone houses, visit the historic Tvrdalj Castle, or explore the UNESCO-listed Stari Grad Plain."

"This is a great day trip to get away from the crowds of Hvar Town. Spend the day strolling through the streets or swimming in the sea."
