"I would start by exploring first the part of town that gets the busiest, aka inside the walls (which is already where you are if you spent the night in the hostel). I don't have any specific places to recommend, just get lost into the winding narrow streets, enjoy watching the city slowly waking up, imagine that you're actually walking King's Landing's streets.
There is an option to visit the City Walls, but I find it extremely expensive (48€, we're definitely not in Montenegro anymore) and I don't even think it's so worth it, walking the streets for free is just as nice. "

"With smooth brick streets, and confusing alleyways, Old Town is a fun and exciting place to explore on foot. You can get really lost here so be polite and ask for help when needed. It will make you feel like you are a character in Game of Thrones!"

"A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dubrovnik’s Old Town is a maze of cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and charming squares. Take time to wander, discover hidden gems, and visit landmarks like the Onofrio Fountain and Orlando's Column."
