"Are you in need of a quick break from the touristy center but don't want to be too far? Střelecký Island is one of the most beautiful sanctuaries Prague has to offer, making you feel like the time has stopped here juts for you. Appreciate the stunning views over Prague's river architecture; the Charles's Bridge, the National Theatre, and so much more from the grounds of this gorgeous park filled with luscious trees, enough greenery, and a fun kids' playground. If you are eager to experience Bohemian Prague, this is the place to be. The island serves as a place for many of Prague's exciting events, hosting food festivals, musical festivals, and even private parties such as birthday celebrations -- locals just bring in blankets and picnic food, and celebrate their kids' special days right here.
