What people say

"Daegu is a city that offers a bit of something for everyone, from its natural beauty, trend hotspots, rich history, and a mixture of new and old. If you visit Kim Gwang-Seok Street you'll find a mixture of music venues and trendy cafes. You can also check out Guryong Mural Village to find some artsy hidden gems where the street art will amaze you. Daegu is also known for its beautiful mountains in South Korea, including Apsan and Palgonsan. Travelers can also check out historical sites that date back to the Silla periods and Joseon Dynasty, or take in the city's stunning parks during spring or fall. If you are a history buff, you can uncover Daegu's unique museums by exploring its trove of ancient artifacts. FAQS Can I do Daegu as a day trip? It is manageable as a day trip from Seoul but I would recommend staying longer to enjoy the city. How long would you recommend visiting Daegu? I'd recommend spending at least 3 to 4 days. You can also use one or two of these days' day tripping from Daegu to other places such as Gyeongju (this is personally one of my personal favorite places in Korea to visit. Check out the included tour I've recommended. If you're a bit nervous and/or don't want to plan the transport and logistics for a day trip KLOOK is a great option for booking tours. "
"Daegu is a city that has something for everyone, from trendy hotspots to breathtaking natural beauty and rich history & seamlessly blends the old & the new. Take a stroll down the hip cafe street or groove to the sounds of Kim Gwang-Seok Street, where you'll find an eclectic mix of trendy cafes and music venues. And if you're on the hunt for artsy hidden gems, look no further than Guryong Mural Village, where stunning street art adorns every corner. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Daegu is also home to some of the most beautiful mountains in South Korea, including the majestic Palgongsan & Apsan. Explore historical sites dating back to the Silla periods & the Joseon Dynasty, or bask in the exquisite scenery of the city's stunning parks during fall and spring. And for the history buffs out there, Daegu is a treasure trove of ancient artefacts. Uncover the secrets of the past at unique museums throughout the city, where you'll discover relics from long ago. 🎒 (Kinda) day-trip-friendly from Seoul, but I'd personally recommend you to spend at least 3-4 days here to fully experience the city & you can also do day trips to places nearby like Gyeongju while you’re here"
