Fraser Island

"This was hands down, my favorite thing I did while on my East Coast adventure and if you skip it, you are seriously missing out. Picture this: you and your new besties all get shoved into a 4x4 vehicle and you follow around a guide while driving on the beach, blasting your favorite tunes, catching glimpses of dingos, and swimming in beautiful lakes. Oh and you just so happen to be on the largest sand island in the world. That’s Fraser Island and it’s just as incredible as it sounds. There are day trip options to Fraser but I recommend doing the 2 night overnight, tagalong tour with Pippies. After talking to some people who used other companies, Pippies by far is the best and offers the best campsite on the island. They have fresh running water, hot showers, and clean bathroom facilities. Oh and the food is fabulous. They also run their own hostel at Rainbow Beach so you can book the tour to include accommodation at Rainbow for the night before and the night after the tour. I didn’t mention where I stayed in my Rainbow section because it was all apart of my Fraser Island tour. "
