"Drangar is the restaurant tucked inside Hotel Kría in Vík. The space is stunning. Two walls are filled with two-story windows. They overlook the mountains to the north. If the northern lights decide to make an early-in-the-evening appearance, this is an ideal spot to be.
The restaurant serves modern Icelandic food. Seafood soup, beetroot, and smoked Arctic char are among the appetizers. They're more creative dishes than the main courses, which include blue ling and duck breast. Be sure to save room for dessert, especially if you haven't tried skyr (Icelandic yogurt) yet.
Tip: There's a cozy cocktail bar attached to the restaurant. Start with a happy hour (4-7 pm) drink here before dinner."
