Laguna de Chacahua

"The best place to chill, do surf and meet amazing people nearby Puerto Escondido. The way to Chacahua is an experience by itself, as you'll need to take several colectivos and boat taxi. I'd recommend staying there at least 3 nights, so you can enjoy the vibes there. For accommodation, there are some options in rooms, but also there's the chance to sleep in hamacs, which is the most affordable way. However, it can be pretty cold at night so bear in mind this if you want to try sleeping in a hammac. Other than that, I'd just recommend renting a surfboard and go to the sea, relax and meet people there, the vibes are really friendly. When I was there I felt like in an isolated place with only good vibes. Oh, and don't miss Friday Night Pizza! Ask to locals about that. "
