"Oh Surfers Paradise how I wish I had skipped you. Notice how it’s the only city I don’t have my own pictures for? It’s for a reason. Here’s the deal with Surfers Paradise: the only people I know who loved Surfers are with lots of friends and love clubbing. And are usually 18-19. If you don’t fit into that category, I would skip it and distribute your time to either more time in Byron or Noosa or both. I stayed for 2 nights at Bunk Hostel. If you are keen to go, this is definitely one of the better hostels in the area. It’s right behind the bus stop which makes it easy and is a short walk to everything. If you love theme parks, maybe don’t skip out on Surfers. There are 2 theme parks within 30 minutes of the city so if that’s something you are interested in, give Surfers a go. "
