"The final design was created by architect Juan Talavera y Heredia. The composition is based on a grid of paths formed by hedges and paving, which, where they meet, create octagonal roundabouts with central fountains and factory benches covered with tiles. The resulting flowerbeds are filled with dense masses of vegetation that give the complex an intimate atmosphere. The gardens end in the Plaza de Refinadores, presided over by a statue dedicated to Don Juan Tenorio."

"Get some shade in these gardens. They're beautiful and well-kept. Also, the atmosphere there makes you feel on a tropical island! "
