"This will be an uphill hike and you can choose between climbing wooden stairs (400 approx.) or hiking through trails. Either way allows you to immerse yourself in the nature of the mountain (I recommend hiking up the trails and down the stairs to have both experiences).
Depending on your pace and physical condition, the time will be different, approximately 1:30-2:00 hrs (believe me the view of the mountain is worth it).
Once you reach the top, you will have a panoramic view of the city. You will have the opportunity to see Montreal from the heights!"

"Mont Royal Park Loop: 5.3 miles (moderate)
This is an internationally renowned public space, right in downtown Montreal. It is known for its extraordinary views of the city and winding trails. The lookout from the top is probably the most photographed spot in the city, but the park is also a great spot for a picnic."

"It's a good hike and a great panoramic view. You might want to skip this if you're visiting in winter or when there is snow, it will be very slippery and hard to hike, unless you have appropriate shoes/gears, therefore coming down will be harder then hiking up :D"
