"Basildon Manor, a National Trust property, served as Lady Tilley Arnold's house in the third season.
However, we've seen part of this location before. It served as the filming location for season two’s Featherington Ball in Bridgerton. Filming took place in the Garden Room and parterre, and because filming happened in October, the production team added over 5,000 artificial flowers to simulate summer. This location also hosted an evening party scene that required a week of preparation and night shoots. The filming took place between 8pm – 5am.
The property was purchased by Francis Sykes in 1771, owned by the Sykes family until 1838, and then bought by Lord and Lady Illiffe a century later. The couple restored the property, which had been damaged during World War II, before donating it to the National Trust in 1978. The property and grounds are open to visitors. "
