Day 1: Arrival and Blue Lagoon

🌅MORNING

You will be arriving at Reykjavik through the Keflavik International Airport and pick up your rental car. Renting a car is highly recommended for a visit to Iceland, as the distance are far and the terrain can get quite beaten and off-road.

☀️AFTERNOON

Head to the Blue Lagoon, located in Grindavik on the Reykjanes Peninsula, about 20 minutes from the airport and 50 minutes from Reykjavik (the following stop where your accommodations await).

After a long flight, relax and enjoy the geothermal waters, silica mud masks, and the lagoon’s amenities. Make sure to book Blue Lagoon tickets in advance as they can sell out quickly.
