I've compiled a list of our favourite kid-friendly trails, waterfalls, beaches and attractions around Nova Scotia. I tried to add a variety of longer trails, shorter trails and different types of attractions to have a little bit of something for everyone. I'd love to see where you end up on your NS adventure, tag me over on Instagram (@beeandbeyond)!
Waterfalls
McMaster Falls
@broganbentley
This is a great spot to explore with younger kids as there is well marked trails, a boardwalk overlooking the larger waterfall and spot to get close to the water.
There is a few spots with benches to sit and one larger picnic table.
The trail can be muddy in places so just make sure you're prepared for that if it's spring or after a rain. It can also be quite slippery in the wintertime.
Also should note that the road for the falls is dirt and can have quite a few pot holes so drive cautiously.

Bohaker Trail, Delaps Cove
@broganbentley
Beautiful, well-maintained trail with coastal views, bridges to cross over the water and a waterfall.
There are ropes to get down to the beach at the bottom of the falls if you have older kids.
This spot has spotty cell service so be aware when visiting.

Ettinger Falls
@broganbentley
The first couple times we tried to hike this , we couldn't find the trailhead. So just note that the trailhead looks alot like a driveway!
It's an easy walk to get to the falls. A stoller could make it until you reach the falls and have to go down the little hill.
Not usually too busy if you go during the week!
