Just BE Kitchen | 100% GF

2364 15th St

Just BE Kitchen

This was the very first gluten-free restaurant I found after my diagnosis and I swear to the universe it was the most healing thing ever. This super cute spot is 100% gluten, grain, and refined sugar-free! Their dishes are also paleo, keto, and AIP friendly (meaning they don’t all meet these requirements but they are adaptable). Besides their delicious menu, the wall art in JBK is so adorable and this spot is really just all-around good vibes. I am in love with their green chili but have recently ventured out to their pulled pork, plantains, and cauliflower mac and cheese. Yes, it is as good as it sounds.

Quiero Arepas (Avanti) | 100% GF

3200 N Pecos St

Avanti Food and Beverage, Denver

I first discovered the Denver Pearl Street location (now closed) of Quiero Arepas and immediately fell in love. This is a must-try for any gluten-free Denver hanger-outers. The restaurant is 100% gluten-free (though not grain-free, their arepas are corn) and 200% incredible. Besides indulging in a delicious and totally safe arepa, you NEED to get a cocada. When I checked this place out with my mom and sister we could not stop stuffing our faces with that amazing coconut drink. More recently, they’ve opened a stall in the collective eatery Avanti and they are still doing the same thing…just on a slightly smaller scale. I highly recommend!
