Getting to Koh Phangan

There is no airport in Koh Phangan, so you'll have to engage in a combination of air, land, and sea travel to get to this magnificent island.

Option 1: Fly to Ko Samui and take the ferry over from Ko Samui (this is the easiest option, but can be expensive)

Option 2: Fly to Surat Thani, take a van to the coast, and then take a ferry to Ko Phangan

Option 3: Take a bus to Surat Thani, take a van to the coast, and then take a ferry to Ko Phangan

The best way to get around Koh Phangan is by motorbike or songtaew, open-backed pick up trucks that will drive you around the island
