5. Herbie's on the Park is centrally located in downtown St. Paul, across from Rice Park.

Herbie's on the Park has delicious bar-style foods that you can enjoy next to a fireplace or watching a game. They have a wonderful selection of local beers, the last one I drank was Summit's Christmas ale. It's a lovely, cozy place in the wintertime.

4. Boca Chica is located on the West Side of Saint Paul, in the historic Latino part of the city.

Boca Chica | Restaurante Mexicano y Cantina

Boca Chica offers traditional Mexican cuisine from various parts of Mexico. I personally enjoyed trying cactus for the first time there. It is a wonderful place for parties, celebrations, and events as well. For a more casual dining experience, head across the street to The Taco House, their fast food version of their food. One of the best restaurants on the West Side.

Tongue in Cheek is the fancy restaurant on the East Side, my hometown. They offer a variety of tastes, from cheeseburgers to ramen. I loved the brunch with a bloody Mary when I went for my birthday. Reservations are a must since the small space gets packed very quickly.

2. Brunson's Pub is an old school style bar with limited space. Set on Payne Ave in Saint Paul's East Side, my hometown.

Brunson's Pub offers some of the best burgers you can find in the Twin Cities. They have a wide variety of local craft beers as well. Seating is limited but in the summertime there is a small patio to spread out. This is one of my favorite bars to eat and drink at!

1. Hands down the best restaurant in Saint Paul is The Saint Paul Grill. Located in the Saint Paul Hotel (the nicest hotel in Minnesota!) and in downtown as well.

The St. Paul Grill

Dress up in your best! This is a nice place, well for Minnesota is it. I celebrated my birthday here this past year and loved every moment of it. The steak was cooked to perfection, wine selection was superb, and the service was excellent. This restaurant can be for special occasions, events, or just a family dinner.
