A couple things to note prior to going.
We went the last week of August
1. Pack warm clothes. They literally only get two weeks of HOT weather, thats the last week of July and the first week of August.
2. Pack a rain jacket
3. Hiking shoes make it so much easier!
4. Stop at the grocery store for snacks and plenty of water
