Keep your energy levels up by having gelato. I always advise to order by size and cost.
I would rather have the smallest size and have it more often! Those large cones hold gallons and it melts too fast to eat.
Around town you will see huge beautiful looking mounds of gelato. Those still taste good, but, they are made with mixes andthe best are the artisanal gelato makers where you won't see those mountains of gelato. No bright green pistacchio or blue "Puffi" flavors.
When I go to a shop for the first time, normally I order Chocolate or Cream flavored as they are the base flavors.
The color of Pistacchio is another sign of quality, it's not bright green, but more of a muted color.
