The aqua blue water, white sand beaches, bohemian vibes all combine to make it the perfect spot to create some romantic moments with your love.
We have been traveling to Tulum for a decade, and have stayed at many of the boutique hotels along the beachfront.
These are our top 3 favorites, along with a bit about why we chose them for this list!

Dune Boutique Hotel
Best for amazing sea views, food, spa and close to clubs and nightlife.
Dune Boutique Hotel is our home away from home in Tulum!
This spot is not too far down Tulum Beach. The rooms are boho chic, with options for pool view or view of the Caribbean Sea.
Dune is located on a trendy strip of Tulum Beach. Lots of day and night clubs nearby. This is known as the "party zone".
If you are able to book the Sunrise Master Suite, it is one of the best balcony porches on Tulum Beach!
Dune has an on-site rooftop spa, with wonderful massages. It also has on-site restaurant. Breakfast is included with your stay. The food is delicious and service amazing..
Dune is located just .4 miles from one of our favorite spots, the Tulum Jungle Gym! If you are into fitness, this is truly one of the most unique workout experiences! You will feel like you may see Fred Flinstone walk in at any moment!
Mi Amor
Best for seclusion, day beds by the sea, closest to Mayan Ruins.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, and truly want to relax, read a book and gaze out at the Caribbean Sea from your private day bed, MI Amor is the spot!
The room decor is boho chic. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious. You can choose sea view, garden or pool view, upper or lower levels, and some have a plunge pool.
There is an on-site spa, boutique, bike rentals, and restaurant. As well as pools to lounge in, and day beds out on the Rocky cliffs. Mi Amor is not on the main strip of Tulum Beach. You can still swim here though, and a short walk down the street will take you to a beach to walk on for a romantic stroll.
Mi Amor serves delicious food, the fish tacos and chips with guacamole are amazing..
Mi Amor is located close to the Tulum Mayan Ruins.. Don't miss taking bikes down to check out this historic spot!
Encantada Boutique Hotel
Best for quiet relaxation on Tulum Beach.
For complete quiet and a chill vibe, Encantada is the spot to go. With a total of 8 rooms, 4 with sea view and 4 with garden view, the service and personal attention is above and beyond.
Encantada is located much further down Tulum Beach. It's about a mile down from the Jungle Gym and club scene. There are still plenty of restaurants and boutiques close by though!
There is an on-site restaurant serving Mayan themed dishes, there is an on-site spa and private beach chairs as well as free bikes.
Our favorite room is Estrella, with a second floor balcony and amazing sea views.
The rooms are boho chic and spacious.
Encantada is near one of our favorite pizza spots, and though we don't indulge in pizza too often, this one we do! You'll find it just down the beach at Casa Violeta. The Quattro queso ( 4 cheese) pizza is the best!
At Encantada you are also close to the Sian Ka'an Biospere Reserve. Don't miss out on exploring this beautiful area.
