As Mudgee's premier winery, it's a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Prepare to capture countless Instagram-worthy moments against this stunning backdrop—you won't want to leave without them!
Lunch at Zin House:

Indulge in a sumptuous lunch at the hatted Zin House within Lowe Wines. Delight in the flavors of farm-to-table experience crafted into delectable dishes that capture the essence of the region. It's a foodie experience not to be missed for any discerning food enthusiast exploring the area.(Lunch at Zin House is available from Thursday to Monday and make sure to book a table well in advance)
Sweet Interlude at Honey Haven:

Make a delightful pit stop at Mudgee Honey Haven for a taste of locally produced honey. Aside from the culinary delights, Honey Haven often provides entertaining activities such as mini-golf, making it a fun and relaxing detour before settling in for the evening.
Visit Burnbrae Wines

Mudgee is synonymous with fine wines, and your trip to Mudgee isn't complete without visiting this next award-winning winery in the region – Burnbrae Wines.
Immerse yourself in a wine-tasting experience at this renowned vineyard, celebrated for its exceptional wines and breathtaking views of the Mudgee region.
On any other day, order their antipasto platter to accompany the wine.We suggest you take away some to enjoy your sunset experience at the accommodation.

If you’re at Glenayr Farm, sunsets are magical from here. You can’t miss that and their dreamy outdoor bathtub. That’s the best spot to enjoy the sunset.
Glenayr offers stunning views, mesmerizing sunsets, wildlife encounters (you will see kangaroos, sheep, and cows on the farm), stargazing, and serene solitude.
They also have a Scenic Hiking Trail on the farm 2-hour trek offering spectacular hilltop views.
At night, the sky comes alive, making it one of the best spots for Stargazing.
Day 2
Sunrise Hot Air Ballooning:

Start your day with an exhilarating hot-air balloon ride over Mudgee. Watch as the sun rises over the vineyards, casting a golden glow over the landscape.
This is the best place for Hot Air Ballooning in New South Wales.(If you’re not doing Hot Air Ballooning, you can start your morning with an early Breakfast at Cade’s Kitchen and cover more wineries after exploring Mudgee town and then head for Frog Rock)

After touching down, head to Cade's Kitchen & Bar for a well-deserved, hearty breakfast. This local favorite is the perfect spot to refuel and serves one of the best breakfasts in town. (This is usually included in your hot air ballooning activity)

Take some time to explore Mudgee Town, known for its charming streets lined with boutique shops, art galleries, and cafes. Stroll along the market street and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of this quaint country town.
Visit Frog Rock:

Take a short drive to Frog Rock, an iconic natural landmark that provides a quick stop for some fun photos and to appreciate the unique formations of the region. This is a unique rock formation that resembles a frog.
Artisanal Cheese Tasting

Delight in a cheese-tasting experience at High Valley Cheese Co., indulging in handcrafted cheeses that promise to be one of the best cheese producers in New South Wales. Their Feta is to die for.
The Drip Gorge Walk Adventure

You cannot miss this when in Mudgee. This is hands down the most Beautiful Short Walk of NSW. Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Mudgee - THE DRIP WALK is a scenic 2.8 km return walking trail along the Goulburn River to THE DRIP GORGE.
This beautiful and easy trail winds through lush bushland, sandstone cliffs, beautiful creeks, and towering eucalyptus trees leading you to THE DRIP –the spectacular rock formations.
This natural wonder is a magnificent rock overhang formed over millions of years by the erosive forces of water.
Rainwater trickling through the porous rock wall makes it a cool oasis. It took us 30 minutes each way.
Lunch at The Barn

Conclude your day with a long lunch at The Barn, a charming restaurant housed in a restored 19th-century barn. The vibe here is fun. Enjoy farm-to-table cuisine made with seasonal produce, accompanied by a selection of local wines.
