Start the day with coffee and breakfast:
Yellow Mug Coffee Lounge
@emilyreeves
Yellow Mug is a wholesome breakfast spot right on Main Street in downtown Weaverville. You'll go once and wish you lived just down the street!
Weaverville is located about 10 minutes north of downtown, and is well worth the trip. *See my guide for a day in Weaverville for more info.

Well-Bred Bakery & Cafe in Downtown Weaverville
@emilyreeves
With locations all over town, you can choose whichever is closest to you. I like to recommend the Weaverville spot, because Weaverville's Main Street area is so cute and homey.
The cafe offers many coffee options as well as all the food you could ever want.

Next up, a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and a hike along the way.
Rattlesnake Lodge
@emilyreeves
Just 15 minutes from downtown Weaverville, this is of the closest hikes around. Get an early start or go on a week day, parking is slim at the trailhead. But there are plenty of hikes off the parkway, so you can always keep driving and choose another!

Lane Pinnacle
@emilyreeves
4.1 mile hike, although depending on where you park, it will be that long or shorter.
I recommend parking in the small lot on the left side of the parkway just before reaching Craggy Gardens Picnic area. (If you put Lane Pinnacle into google maps it should take you here) and will give you a decently long hike with excellent rewards in the view!

Craggy Gardens Visitor Center
@emilyreeves
If you GPS to this spot from Weaverville, it will be about a 35 minute drive away. Follow Reems Creek Rd to Ox Creek Rd to Blue Ridge Parkway. You can go either direction you like, but I recommend going North on the parkway, as my hike recommendations will be to the North!

An excellent hike for sunrises, sunsets, or just a midday workout, incredible 360° views reward you after a quick one mile hike just off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Great for leashed dogs and kids!

@emilyreeves
A brand new brewery, Leveller focuses on quality, and their sheep! They have the best merch, and the best staff. Open Thursday-Sundays!

Eluvium Brewing Company
@emilyreeves
Elluvium is the only brewery in weaverville open every day of the week! Their beers are tasty, and they offer food as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Zebulon Artisan Ales
@emilyreeves
Zebulon has the shortest window of open hours, so make sure to check them out if you’re lucky enough to be around on a Friday or Saturday! They charge for everything you try, but that allows you to make your own flight incredibly easily.
