16th Street Mall

If you only have time for one activity in Denver, make it this one. Walking down the pedestrian-only 16th Street in the heart of downtown Denver is the best way to get a feel for the city. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops lining the street.

If you are an art enthusiast, don’t miss the Denver Art Museum, which houses a collection of art from around the world. The 7th floor is devoted to southwest art, and you will see many paintings featuring some of the peaks and landscapes you will get to experience for yourself on this road trip!
