If you're in Berlin, and have an extra day, Potsdam should be the first place on your radar.

Potsdam has a lot to offer, from the wonderful palaces that they have (17 palaces), to various hikes and amazing parks. Also reaching to Potsdam is very easy. You can either take the S Bahn which will take you to Potsdam is one hr. Or take one of the Many RE's and reach Potsdam even quicker!!!

Spreewald is another beautiful destination that you'd visit near Berlin. Spreedwald is considered to be Venice near Berlin. Wald means forest in German. So Spreewald translates to the Spree forest.

Spree Wald is a Unesco site, and has tons of hiking, cycling and boating routes available. Our favourite activity to do in Spreewald is to take a boat and explore the canals in Spreewald.

Bastei Bridge is a breathtaking rock formation in Germany, created by water erosion for over a million years ago. It rises to a height of 305 meters (1,000 feet) and is considered to be the majestic throne above the Elbe River. The views from the bridge are spectacular and the hike is also pretty good.

The Devil's Bridge

Rakotzbrücke, also called the Devil’s Bridge, looks like something that belongs in a fairytale. It is one of many Devil’s Bridges in Europe. Rakotzbrücke was built in 1860. The entire bridge is manmade, including the jagged, rocky spires on either end of the bridge and the pointed rocks that sit out in the lake. Even though Satan did not play a role in the construction of this bridge, it still gets the name Devil’s Bridge for its delicate arch. It’s so extraordinary that Satan must have built it.
