Attire is casual plus - wear whatever you feel comfortable and a little bit fly in!

This is where we’ll have welcome drinks! In addition to having a great lineup of hoppy beers, Lagunitas also has a stage at their brewery and they often have great acts! We’ll have a couple of local musicians playing tunes for us while we mix and mingle on night 1. A casual dinner will be available, but feel free to come and go on your own schedule.

Saturday morning: Quick hike 🏔

Meet at the main trailhead at 9:30a

We’ll be keeping this relatively short (2.3 miles RT) because the wedding party needs some time to get dolled up, but the park we’ll be hiking in has more trails. We recommend taking some extra time to explore!

This is our wedding venue! Ceremony starts at 6pm, but please join us at 5:30pm. We’ll have a little bubbly before the ceremony starts, so your prompt arrival will be rewarded! Dinner and dancing will follow. Shuttles are running from our two suggested hotels, but there will also be onsite parking. Ubers and taxis can be arranged.

Sunday morning: Pastries, coffee, and goodbyes! 🥐 ☕️

We’ll be posted up starting at 10am. Come through and pick up some pastries and coffee for the road. Then get out there and enjoy yourself!

Absolutely delicious sandwiches and salads. They make all their own bread in-house. It’s a great spot to pick up food for a picnic outdoors!

Logistics

We have a room block secured at the Hotel Petaluma - mention THATCHWEDDING at booking.

This is also where shuttles will be running from, leaving for the venue starting at 5pm and returning from 10pm through the end of the party at 12am.

Just to the east of Petaluma is the heart of Northern California wine country. If you’re a wine lover, spend an extra night or two in the area and sample some of the best the region has to offer.

Bodega Bay / The Coast

A foggy, moody slice of CA Coastline. Great for a night camping or generally decompressing and walking along the bluffs.

San Francisco

Focus on food and art with a little taste of coastline with a few extra days in the City by the Bay.
