2. Banh Mi

Bánh mì Bùi Thị Xuân
@traveleatvietnam
Forget all the other banh mi places you've seen all over Youtube - this place has quality meats with many they make themselves like the pate and meatballs. Very generous amount and tasty. Tip: If you want a standard Banh Mi just say 'banh mi' when you order. Or you can point to specific meats you want in your sandwich. Enjoy!

3. Com Tam

Cơm tấm Dì Tám, chợ Tân Định
@traveleatvietnam
This place only opens in the evenings from 6pm to about 10-11pm or whenever they sell out. They've got grilled pork and chicken and they are equally good. Choose a meat and other items include fried egg or omelet, pork shreds. It comes with pickled veggies and side of sweet fish sauce. It's a pretty hearty meal and tastes extra good when you're getting the meats fresh off the grill when it's still hot. Streetside eating is the best - you get good food and a fun atmosphere!

5. Dessert

Ben Thanh Market
@traveleatvietnam
The food court at Ben Thanh Market is a great place to try all the varieties of Vietnamese food. It’s a little pricier than outside but it’s convenient. There’s a dessert stall on the left aisle from the west entrance. There are tall glasses of different soupy desserts stacked on the display counter. Just choose which one that looks good to you. Most of the cold desserts come with coconut milk. 🥥 Enjoy!
