Logistics & Basic Info

How to get there

There are two train stations! Be sure you know which station you’re buying tickets for, and note that your journey might not be in and out of the same station.

One way from the TGV station to Paris takes about 3h10 on a direct train and cost me 58€.

This is the station actually IN Aix, so definitely easier to come in and out off of you won’t have a car.

Aix-en-Provence TGV
@hilaryinparis
This station is a 15 minute drive from Aix city center, without traffic. The station entrance is pretty overwhelming so allow extra time if you are departing from this station. Sometimes the trains to this station are faster and cheaper than the trains to the Aix SNCF station, but it’s definitely less convenient to get to this one. To get into Aix city center, you can either take a taxi, which will probably cost ~40 EUR, or a bus shuttle ("navette") for about 6 EUR. The buses leave roughly every 30 minutes, but check the time table and other info at the link below.
