Aruba: Must-visit Beaches
Good news!! All beaches in Aruba are public and free to access and has plenty of shaded areas thanks to the Palapas (thatched-roof structures) available. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming,
Boca Catalina Beach
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Boca Catalina Beach. While there are some rocky formations, there's a clear entrance to the water and a lovely view of the coastline.
Tres Trapi Beach
Perfect for the adventure seekers! "Tres Trapi" is a phrase in the Papiamento language, it translates to "Three Steps" in English. The name refers to the three natural stone steps found on the beach that lead into the water. These steps serve as a convenient entry point for swimmers and snorkelers, allowing them to easily access the beautiful waters of Tres Trapi Beach.
Eagle Beach
Eagle Beach is known for its calm and crystal-clear waters, making it a haven for swimming and other water activities. Take a refreshing dip in the inviting sea, or simply relax on a beach chair and soak up the sun's rays. The beach's tranquility and spaciousness offer ample room for beachgoers to find their own slice of paradise.
One of the most iconic features of Eagle Beach is its famous Fofoti trees. These graceful, windswept trees create a picturesque backdrop against the azure sky, lending an air of exotic beauty to the beach. Don't miss the opportunity to capture the perfect snapshot of these natural wonders, as they have become an emblematic symbol of Aruba.
Palm Beach
One of the most popular beaches in Aruba. Palm Beach, located on the northwestern coast, is a vibrant and lively destination known for its stunning beauty and lively atmosphere. This iconic beach stretches for miles, with soft white sands caressed by the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Baby Beach
Saving the best for last, this beach was a must for our trip to Aruba. Recommended by everyone we talked to, it was a must for our trip to Aruba.
Exploring Aruba
I highly recommend that you rent a car while in Aruba, while the island is rather small and offers public transportation, nothing beats being able to move hop from beach to beach in the comfort of your own vehicle (with AC)
Throughout my trip, the weather was hot, around 29 or 30 degrees Celsius. While there were cloudy days, it didn't stop me from enjoying the island's offerings.
If you're looking for a tropical vacation, Aruba should definitely be on your list. From the beautiful beaches to the comfortable accommodations, there's plenty to enjoy.
