🔌 France uses the two-pronged outlets - don't forget your adapter!
💧Tap water is safe to drink and free at restaurants. Ask for "une carafe d'eau" which is a carafe of tap water. This is NOT the same thing as when they ask if you want "still or sparkling" - if you say "still" they will bring you bottled still water and charge you for it. In Paris, keep an eye out for ornate, forest-green fountains with running water.
