San Lorenzo, Rome. From breakfast to dinner.

This is my neighborhood, where I grew up and where I still live! This vibrant neighborhood has a lot to offer. Would you try a real local experience? Interesting history and a lot of places to eat with locals! From breakfast, to a snack, through aperitif and finally dinner!

Pizzeria Ennio&Osvaldo Roma (ANTICA ROMA)
@francescal
■ Snack or take away lunch/dinner Osvaldo, the owner, is the protector of the real Roman PIZZA AL TAGLIO, he his very genuine and friendly with everybody...a true supporter of football team of Rome as you will see in his old school pizzeria! What is PIZZA AL TAGLIO? •Is a variety of pizza baked in large rectangular trays, and generally sold in rectangular or square slice by weight. I recommend to try also the SUPPLÌ just before to eat your slice of fresh baked pizza.

■ Dinner Typical Roman pizza : •Low and thin pizza, very light to digest •Wood oven •Family atmosphere •Very friendly and happy staff For me the best pizza in San Lorenzo, it is very very light and easy to digest, I use to go there since I was a kid! No need reservation in the week days but it is recommended in the weekend. P.s. Don't be scared if you don't see the "typical" Italian waiter...they are a large multi-ethnic family, they always have a huge smile on their face and a free limoncello for you at the end of the dinner!
