Spending only 4 days in Lisbon, Portugal will not do this city justice, but for first-timers to the area this is the perfect quick itinerary to get a glimpse of what it has to offer.
Lisbon, Portugal is the capital city of Portugal and is known for its historic center, architecture, colorful ceramic tiles (azulejos), and amazing food choices. History aside, Lisbon is a fantastic place to visit. I enjoyed my time here, which included taking way too many pictures, eating a ton of pasteis de nata, and seeing all the amazing colorful buildings and azulejos.
Day 1: Roaming Around the City
Let's start the morning with some breakfast so that you can survive walking the very hilly streets of Lisbon. Head to Fabrica da Nata - Pasteis de Nata which is a popular bakery in Lisbon with two locations. The bakery has a variety of pastries, including pastries with ham and cheese. The bakery also has a kitchen that is open to the dining area, allowing guests to see how the pastries are made.
