Complete 3 days-guide to Budapest 💫
Day 1.
A convenient Ryanair flight of about 1.5 hours (from Milan) brings you to the city, which is actually two cities: Buda and Pest. Waiting for you just outside the terminal is the 100E bus. The tickets can be purchased through the BudapestGO app (€5,60 per person) and validated just before boarding. The most "central" and useful stop for those who don't want to waste time is Deàk Ferenc tér.
After about 35 minutes, we get our first taste of Hungarian baked goods at VAJ Sas - café & bakery: highly recommended.
Thanks to our fisrt bus (tickets bought with BudapestGO), we reach the Budavàri Siklò.
Due to the long line, we decide to walk up. Thanks to this we can admire the splendid panorama. We finally reach the Buda Castle. From here, you can see almost all of the capital spread out.
