First day was all about immersing ourselves in the local charm - a leisurely stroll along the Esplanade and lagoon, capped off with a delightful dinner at one of the many waterfront restaurants. 🍽️  

Our journey was pleasantly warm, with a touch of clouds, yet still sunny and humid. Cairns experiences a tropical climate with two distinct seasons: the wet season, commencing around November/December and extending through April.

This day brought unparalleled excitement as we delved into the depths of the Great Barrier Reef with Pelago. A full day of scuba diving awaited, and the advance booking ensured a seamless underwater adventure. 🐢

This day Whisked us away to the pristine beauty of Fitzroy Island, a blissful escape that unfolded over the entire day. 🏖️ 

On the last day we soared above the Great Barrier Reef in a 35-minute helicopter ride with GSL Aviation, an hour experience that etched Cairns into our hearts forever. 🚁💑 

You can also treat yourselves to breathtaking views from the Cairns Skyrail and Cableway, starting your morning journey around 9 or 10 am and concluding by 4 or 5 pm.
