Where to Stay

I didn't really like where I stayed on Koh Tao, so I don't have a recommendation for you, but I can tell you where not to stay!

Koh Tao Loft Hostel

This was the place I stayed at in Koh Tao, and I would not recommend it. I found a big roach in the bathroom. I booked it on Hostelworld, but I do not recommend it. It was cute, but I do not like roaches. The owner told me there was a restaurant on the other side of the wall, which did not make the situation better.

What to do

Nang Yuan Island

Visiting this island is one of the top things to do from Koh Tao. Once you get to it, there's a really beautiful viewpoint that you can hike up to. It's really cute there. You can take a long towboat to get there on your own. You have to pay to get in but it's not a lot, I don't remember how much it is, but it's not even $5.
