Tips.
-The Drive to Alabama Hills has a ton of speed traps so keep an eye on your speed.
-Make sure movie road is open. Last time it was closed due to heavy rain and roads being damaged. We had to use 4x4 to get in. (this only applies to people traveling in seda
-Weekends can get packed and it's first come first serve.
- Camp in Designated Sites with a Tent Icon.
-Only AT&T gets Reception in some locations.
-Bring trash bags.
-High clearance vehicles are better to get to more remote campsites.
-The Town has a little market just 15 minutes away.
-Bring your own firewood. The town's firewood is a bit pricey.
-Watch for wildlife: Alabama Hills is home to a variety of wildlife, including rattlesnakes, coyotes, and bobcats. Keep a safe distance. Ive seen scorpions so leave your tent closed and if you do leave it open double-check with caution.
