REDWOOD NATIONAL PARK ITINERARY
This itinerary is the product of HOURS of research and planning and includes an interactive map, directions, things to do, hiking and trail data, where we ate, and more in the form of a four day adventure itinerary! If you love hiking, exploring the beauty of our National Parks, and enjoy local cuisines, then this itinerary is for you. This is a mobile friendly itinerary so you can use it throughout your trip in real time. I took all of our experiences from our spring trip to Redwood National Park and our mishaps/what we wish we knew and compiled everything into this guide. You will have this guide for life, even as it is edited, and can access it any time. Stick to this guide for an incredible set of experiences. Or, blend my recommendations with your own research to create the perfect trip of your dreams.
This itinerary was originally created for two adults, but is suitable for any amount of travelers, including solo travelers. It travels from the Bay Area, California up to Redwood National Park on day one, and returns to the Bay Area on day four.
Recommended Travel:
If you are flying into town, there are a few airports in the area, depending on your price range and location. Based on this itinerary, I would recommend flying into SFO and renting a car for your journey up to Redwood National Park if you are not local. There are other options nearby, including OAK and SJC, that might be worth looking into for additional flight times and price points.
Recommended Lodging: Roosevelt Base Camp
