Weeklong Roadtrip of Ireland

You can take a road trip around Ireland for as long as you want to but this is the way to do it in a week! This is just the Republic of Ireland, and does not include Northern Ireland. For that, I would add on a few days and go up to Belfast. I don't think you are doing Ireland justice if you only stay in Dublin, the coast and the small towns made the trip in my opinion!

Flying In

Most flights into Ireland will be into Dublin, so that is where this guide will start and end. You could also be flying into Galway but my recommendation is Dublin! An easy airport to navigate and a great first city to explore. Also, you can avoid driving a car in the city by being able to use public transportation and then picking up your car to head out of the city.

Driving

In Ireland, they drive on the left side of the road. In most other countries, that is not the case. It was fairly easy to pick up but just keep that in mind as you drive!
