2-3 Days Best of Cusco
Places You Cannot Miss
Plaza de Armas. Not only the city center but home to the most gorgeous buildings, rich in history, buzzing with energy and set amongst a breath taking Cusqueñan hill backdrop.Â
Pre-Incan Ancient Stone. If you know about Sacsayhuaman, it's incredible to see this stone in the middle of the city. Packed with history and mystery, visiting this stone is a treat that many do not get to see.Â
Local Central Market with handmade local gifts, souvenirs, chocolates, alpaca garments, fresh juices, soups, sandwiches and much more. All unbelievably cheap.
This massive fortress-temple complex is walking distance from city center and is filled with stunning and mysterious pre-incan history.
Incredible Peruvian Restaurants
Peruvian food is not only unique but absolutely incredible. Below are some of the most outstanding places I had several dishes that left me speechless and falling more in love with Peru. Of course, Ceviche de Trucha was has at all of them and found to be 10/10.
Exceptional Pisco Sours
Pisco Sour is the national drink of Peru, and for a good reason. Pisco is made only in Peru and it is a high proof liqour. The most typical sour will have a 3:1:1 ratio of pisco: lime juice: simple syrup and made complete with an egg white foam. The best piscos are shaken, not blended. All found below.
