Why San Quirico?

Rather small but beautiful city, equipped with the essentials: Guide Michelin rated restaurants, local wine, cheese & olive oil stores and a well restorated old city center surrounded by a city wall in the middle of beautiful Tuscany.

...but first caffè al banco

The real Italian experience starts with a coffee next to the coffee bar. Authentic coffee kick inclusive. Some like to order cornetti (sweet pastry) 🥐 or tramezzini as a snack. Recommend to order always al banco and save the big appetite for a local restaurant.

Lots of coffee places have the pay first strategy - order, pay and wait at the bar to be served.

In general: For coffee no recommendations are needed due to low coffee prices and high quality all around Italy.

This is the hotspot for local cheese. Extraordinary pecorino (sheep milk cheese) and multiple ricotta cheese products. Addictive and high quality.

Olive Oil 🫒🤤

This city is famous for the olive oil festival. Multiple olive producers are located in the small city. Our favorite spot to get every day high quality oil:

This small town also has a butcher. Go to coop for everything the small local stores can't cover (like anti insects spray).

San Quirico is surrounded by lots of vineyards and thermal springs.
