Recommendations for must see places in Las Vegas, Nevada!

The desert awaits! There is so much fun to be had in Las Vegas - get ready to enjoy and let loose! 

Pack accordingly for the weather; could be a scorcher!

Lucky for us, the main airport is not far off the strip. There is clear signage in baggage claim to catch a taxi, Uber or Lyft. I’m partial to the rideshare apps but the taxi setup is nice - there’s a staff member outside to greet you and assign you a taxi. 

I would recommend staying at the Linq, the Flamingo or MGM Grand. All are close to the action and not terribly pricey. Also, if booking last minute, be sure to check the hotel websites for deals on your stay! You could stay at one of the pricier hotels (Aria/Cosmopolitan) for a week day and then move to another for the weekend as well.

Attractions don't necessarily have to be a specific thing like a museum in Vegas; just wandering through the beautiful hotels is an adventure. I would recommend heading off strip for the day and then returning for dinner and a show/night out.

Hotels I would recommend walking through (all on the strip): Bellagio (check out the conservatory - updated seasonally), MGM Grand (shops in the basement level, fun country bar), Mandalay Bay (shops and exhibits), Luxor (wild building shape and exhibits), Caesars Palace (light and bright interior that is just fantastic to view, shops and wonderful restaurants, the Omnia club), Venetian (gondola rides!).

Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas

Fremont street is a few blocks of covered street area bordered by casinos, shops and restaurants. Some highlights are the Tank at the Golden Nugget, live DJ and band performances, zip lining and street performers.

Beautiful area to check out if you would like to have a break from the strip and try some new foods!

Shows! Catch a show that you're into - they have tons of options from well known artists to magicians who have been performing in Vegas for years. Cirque Du Soleil is a great one to start with if you're not sure what to choose.
