This gorgeous 5 bedroom, 7 bed private villa was perfect for a small group of friends. Located a 10 minute drive away from Funchal, this area is easy to navigate with a small beach, some shops, and restaurants within walking distance.

This villa has a gorgeous outdoor space filled with plants to ensure privacy, and a swimming pool on the roof.

Day 1

After arriving in Madeira from an early morning flight and settling in to our Airbnb, the first thing on our agenda was lunch. We took a stroll around the bay and decided on Pier One Grill Terrace, which overlooked the ocean and served incredible Mediterranean seafood. We also tried our first Nikita here - a local cocktail made from pineapple ice cream or other various flavours, pineapple, pineapple juice, and white beer. This drink was refreshing and became the drink of the trip!
