A girl's trip travel guide to 4 European cities during shoulder season

We started out our trip by walking around the city and stumbling upon as many cute coffee shops (not the marijuana kind) as we could consume. The foodhallen was a great gem that we found for lunch as a way to try as many different dishes as we could 

-From Schiphol Airport train station, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal station. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes.

-From the "Rijksmuseum" tram stop, walk towards the direction the tram was going and turn left on Stadhouderskade. Walk about 150 meters and you will find the Quentin England Hotel on your right.

-At Amsterdam Centraal station, take tram 13 or 17 towards the direction of Geuzenveld or Osdorp respectively. Get off at the "Rijksmuseum" stop.

We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful spring day so we started the day at the botanical gardens :) 

Note that the total travel time will depend on how long you have to wait for trains and transfers, but it should take around 50-60 minutes in total.  Also, if you have heavy luggage, it may be easier to take a taxi or an airport shuttle directly to your hotel.

-SuperShuttle: SuperShuttle offers shared-ride and private-ride services from the airport to your hotel. Prices start at around 25 euros per person for a shared-ride service.

-Paris Airport Shuttle: Paris Airport Shuttle provides shared-ride and private-ride services from the airport to your hotel. Prices start at around 23 euros per person for a shared-ride service.

-Air France Shuttle: Air France Shuttle operates a bus service from Charles de Gaulle airport to various locations in Paris, including Gare de Lyon, Montparnasse, and Porte Maillot. From these locations, you can transfer to the metro or take a taxi to your hotel.

As per any large city in Europe, there are great ways to get to and from the airport!

-To get to our airbnb that we had in Valencia we had to take 2 trains so instead of taking all of our stuff on 2 trains, we split a taxi from the airport

-It was about a 20 minute drive and a 30 euros that we split between 3 people. NOTE: this is not the most cost-effective way to get around but it is much more convenient if you have a lot of luggage

Lisbon is a very small city, but because of its large hills and unique geography it can be hard to see everything on foot.  My friends and I were fascinated by the Tuk Tuk's that we saw everywhere so we decided to book a trip! It was such an affordable experience for 6 people and we had the best time with our tour guide!

Another thing in Lisbon that we did that was one of the best experiences I've ever done was a boat tour around the bay. This was $50/person.  It takes 2 hours and you are given food and wine.  Bring a coat because it's chilly when the sun goes down!
