1. Stay the night in a trullo
Sleeping in a trullo (the singular form of trulli) is one of the most unique experiences to be had in the whole world. That's because the trulli are found nowhere else but this region in Italy! I suggest staying in the Rione Aia Piccola neighborhood because it is quiet and authentic (residents of Alberobello actually live in trulli here!)
2. Buy souvenirs in Rione Monti
This is the neighborhood in Alberobello that you'll find the most "touristy", so to speak. But it's popular for a reason! And the souvenirs here are totally unique. I got my dad a beautiful biking jersey and everyone in my family cute cone-shaped handmade potholders.
