London photo walk: Hampstead Village 🌳

London photo walk: Hampstead Village 🌳

If you're looking to explore a beautiful part of the city with little to no tourists, keen to see some of the biggest and most expensive homes that London has to offer, and/or are interested in soaking in some literary history than this self-guided walking tour is for you. Hampstead Village is an absolutely lovely area in North London to leisurely explore - especially in the spring or summer when all the trees are in bloom.

Before you go:

🤍 Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a portable charger and make sure you have plenty of available storage on your phone to take pictures!

🤍 This route starts and ends at a tube / Underground station to make it easy for you to navigate to and from this route, regardless of where you're staying in London.

🤍 The nearby Hampstead Heath park (which you'll see on the map) is huge and could be a walk on its own. I've not built it into this route but have made a suggestion below where you could veer into it if you're interested. I do hope to add a photo walk for this park so stay tuned 😊

Directions in Google Maps:

Start: Hampstead Heath Station

Walk out of the station towards South End Road. If you fancy one, grab a coffee from The Nook - an adorable café that you should see across the road to the left.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Welcome to my page! 👋🏼  When I was 16, I packed my bags and left everything familiar I had ever known in my hometown of Toronto to move to Switzerland. That year away changed so much for me and had such a meaningful influence on my life, outlook and perspective. And the travel bug has been with me ever since. So after visiting nearly 50 countries, living in four, and collecting 20 years worth of adventures, lessons and insights, I’m eager to channel all of that into helping others. 🗺️ What I’m great for: mature travelers, couples, solo wanderers and families who enjoy authentic experiences, great food and drinks, a mix of classic sights and off-the-beaten-track gems, and being outside.  🌍 What you can find here: guides, itineraries, lists and self-guided tours of London, UK, Europe and beyond. I’ve only chosen some of the places I’ve been recently so everything here is fresh and relevant.  🇬🇧 My specialty: London. I’ve lived here for over 9 years and have a hugeeee treasure trove of high-quality places, intel and advice so I focus my custom itinerary and curated recommendation services on only this city. 💁🏻‍♀️ Why trust me: my track record of delighted clients speaks for itself, reflected in the wonderful five-star reviews they’ve shared 🤍 📸 Follow me on IG (@awaywithalbs) for my latest adventures.
