The Westin Excelsior, Rome
@akhtarkhan
I recently stayed at The Westin Excelsior in Rome and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. Located in the fashionable Via Veneto, just 500 meters from Spagna Metro Station, the hotel features luxurious decor with antique furniture and crystal chandeliers. The rooms are simply elegant with refined furniture, custom fabrics, and a flat-screen TV with both satellite and pay-per-view channels. Some rooms even offer a view of Via Veneto. The marble bathroom is equipped with a bathrobe and slippers, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. One of the highlights of the hotel is the 300 m² wellness center, which features a hot tub, a gym, and an indoor swimming pool. It was the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate after a long day of exploring the city. The hotel has stylish lounge bars where you can enjoy drinks and snacks. I particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean cuisine served at the Doney Restaurant, which provides a chic indoor setting along Via Veneto. The Westin Excelsior is surrounded by cafes, shops, and restaurants, making it the perfect location to experience the best of Rome. It is just a 5-minute walk from Villa Borghese and Piazza Barberini and is well-connected to Rome's main attractions via public transport links. Overall, I highly recommend The Westin Excelsior for anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient stay in Rome.

Hotel Locarno
@akhtarkhan
During my recent visit to Rome, I had the pleasure of experiencing the charming Hôtel Locarno. The hotel is located on a quiet street just off of Piazza del Popolo, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city center. The early 20th-century twin buildings that house the hotel have been beautifully restored, and the rooftop terrace provides breathtaking views of Rome's historic center. As an avid fan of Art Nouveau design, I was particularly drawn to the hotel's interiors, which feature a retro-classic style that combines Art Deco furniture with urban elements. The intimate private salons and rooftop terraces would make a perfect venue for hosting events. One of the highlights of my stay was the generous continental breakfast served al fresco on the furnished patio in fine weather. I also enjoyed the Locarno's bar, where I could unwind with a drink in the afternoon or evening. The air-conditioned rooms were equipped with all the amenities I needed, including fine fabrics, a TV, safe, and minibar. Flaminio Metro Station, just a 4-minute walk away, offered direct connections to the Vatican City area and Termini Train Station, making it easy to explore the city's many attractions. The Spanish Steps were also within walking distance, at just 850 meters from the Locarno.
