If you are coming from Germany to visit using the Deustchland Ticket keep in mind that it is not valiud for the trip from Kehl to Strassbourg. I recommend taking a day ticket, travel till Kehl from wherever you are in Germany and then take tram D to Strassbourg.

You can buy the tickets online or on the Tram station outside Kehl Central Staion. If you are travelling in a group then the day ticket(ALSA+ EMS DAILY GROUP TICKET) cost 7,2 euros for a group of 2-5 people. There are other tickets available on their official website.
