Food, who doesn’t love food? I don’t know about you but I research so many places before I travel to ensure I have the best experience. Well, let me take the stress of finding places to eat whilst you in Antibes and I’ll show you my favourites. After 8 years living here I got to know the good the bad and the ugly restaurants in Antibes. Avoid tourist traps and I’ll show you how we dined as locals. I’ll explain why I love each one and what I like to order. This list will have a variety of budgets and will include everything from my favourite cafès to high end dining. I’ve also added a few of my favourite bars at the end. Enjoy!

Antibes

Vielle Ville / Cap d’Antibes / Plage de la Salis / Port Vauban / La Fontonne

Plage Keller - Restaurant Le César

Carl and I used to come here for date night. A great place to get dressed up and watch the sunset over the hills of Nice. There is a bus that stops here from Antibes bus station but they don’t usually run very late. Taxis are available though!

We called this our local. We loved a Saturday rosè lunch here. They won’t rush you for your table back so you can relax for the afternoon. Also the only beach bar in Antibes Old Town!

Restaurant Le Safranier
@deleteduser4294966628
A neighbourhood French restaurant where you won’t find many (or any!) tourists. The commune du Safraniere is a community hall dedicated to preserving local traditions. They have festivals in may and Christmas which are great if you are in town. You will really get a local feel for Antibes here.

What it says on the tin! Dare to try absinthe? This is the place! You will be guided by knowledgeable waiters in this cosy, underground bar. They also have a live musician some nights! Try on the hats and have a great night! 💚
