As avid travelers who have explored over 40 states in the US, my husband and I are always on the lookout for hidden gem places to visit. And we found just that in Winston-Salem, North Carolina - a town that's often overlooked but has so much to offer! Winston-Salem is a small town with a big heart, located in the heart of North Carolina. It's a charming town with a rich history and culture, and it's known for its friendly locals, delicious food, and beautiful natural surroundings. Winston-Salem is located in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, approximately 100 miles north of Charlotte and 120 miles west of Raleigh. It is also just a few hours' drive from other major southeastern cities such as Atlanta, Richmond, and Washington D.C.
