1. Giza Plateau - Giza Necropolis - Giza Pyramid Complex 🏜️🪦🗿

The Pyramids of Giza are an absolute must-see when you're in Cairo! 🏜️ These awe-inspiring royal tombs hold centuries of history, and there are still exciting discoveries happening there today. While you're soaking in the magic, you'll also come face-to-face with the iconic Great Sphinx of Giza—a massive limestone marvel with the body of a lion and the head of a human 🦁, embodying ancient mystery and power.

You'll get to marvel at three incredible pyramids: the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure—each with its own story to tell. Plus, the site is getting ready to welcome the Grand Egyptian Museum, soon to be the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single civilisation. It's going to be epic 🏛️!

You can easily get there via Uber or Careem, and tickets can be purchased at the gate or online. The site is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with last entry at 4:00 PM. General entry to the Giza Plateau is EGP 200 for adults and EGP 100 for students (for Egyptians and Arabs, it's EGP 40 and EGP 20). If you’re keen on exploring the Great Pyramid and Khufu’s Boat Museum, grab an all-inclusive ticket for EGP 600 (EGP 300 for students) 🎟️.
