I have been lucky enough to have visited LA several times thanks to relatives who live there and each time there is something new to explore.

But in this guide I focus on the classics I think every first time visitor should check out. Enjoy the sun, the beach, the amazing food and the iconic landmarks.

Duration: I would suggest 3-5 days, more especially if wanting to add on Disneyland & Universal Studios

Transportation

I would consider renting a car only if you plan on driving out to Malibu or other further destinations

Otherwise Uber and the Metro Rail can be used.

If you do plan on driving, know you will run into traffic.
